Hormone yoga therapy is a yoga series, with its roots in physiology, that helps to activate and balance the endocrine system.  It involves stimulating the glands and organs responsible for hormone production using a combination of classical hatha yoga, kundalini yoga and Tibetan energy circulation techniques as well as yoga nidra. 

The practice consists of a set series of hatha yoga asanas.  Each pose is enhanced through powerful breathing, energy circulation, visualisation and relaxation.  Regular practice helps to bring the hormonal system back into balance, reducing or eliminating symptoms of low hormone levels.


  • Exercises are simple and dynamic and suitable for everyone
  • No previous yoga experience required
  • Once you have learned the sequence, daily practice takes approximately​ 30 minutes and can be done anywhere.

HYT is not advised if you:

  • have (or have a hisotory of) estrogen dominant breast cancer (can start with medical permission 1 year after last treatment)
  • are pregnant, breastfeeding or less than 6 months post partum
  • have advanced endometriosis ( can start with medical permission if in early stages)
